About BlockInterop

Interoperability Expertise, Built for Delivery

BlockInterop is a healthcare technology and interoperability consulting firm. We work with healthcare organizations, health plans and payers, health technology companies, and clinical trial organizations to design and implement secure, scalable data exchange.

Why we exist

Healthcare organizations rarely struggle with interoperability because the standards are unclear. They struggle because standards, regulation, vendor roadmaps, legacy systems, and operational capacity all move at different speeds.

BlockInterop was created to sit in that gap: translating requirements into architecture, architecture into working interfaces and APIs, and working technology into adopted, supportable operations.

We work as an embedded partner across strategy, delivery, and validation, so decisions made in a roadmap survive contact with production.

How We Operate

Principles That Shape Our Work

Execution over abstraction

Every recommendation we make is one we could implement ourselves, with owners, sequencing, and dependencies named.

Standards with pragmatism

We build to recognized healthcare standards while designing around the legacy systems that will not disappear.

Workflow first

Data exchange only creates value when it fits the clinical, administrative, or research workflow it supports.

Durable capability

We leave behind documentation, patterns, and internal capability rather than dependence on outside help.
